In the weather entity documentation it says pressure can be either inHg or hPa. But in my country (apparently in all post-soviet countries) we measure pressure in mmHg - mm of mercury. I hope this unit of measurement will be added to HA eventually.
I propose addition of pressure_unit in the WeatherEntity just as we have temperature_unit
def pressure_unit(self):
"""Return the unit of measurement."""
return TEMP_MM_HG
Unfortunately, the creators of Home Assistant frankly do not care about the inhabitants of the post-Soviet countries in the sense of this topic. See details here: https://github.com/home-assistant/core/pull/35575
Thanks, but I am not a masochist knocking twice on a closed door. The tool was suggested. A detailed description of the reasons for its creation was given to it. If they didn’t want to listen to me, I’m sorry.
If these people do not understand that the program they have created has long ceased to be a “thing in itself”, I cannot insert my brain into their heads. I can only hope that one day they will realize their mistake …
