Prevent inactive timer Google Nest mini?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to disable the 5 minute timer of a Google Nest mini speaker so I won’t switch off anymore?

This because if I stream an audio file to it it first makes a “startup” sound which I don’t want as I also use it as Doorbell chime.

I found this workarround (thanks to: hoffsta): I did it. I defeated the horrible Google Home "cast-start" prompt sound!

I also would like to know, is there a better solution?
