Hello! I recently decided to switch to Zigbee, but I have connectivity problems. Two of my Aqara vibration sensors is in the living room, but had bad connections. I bought a Ikea Zigbee switch and lightbulb to increase the connection quality, but now the vibration sensors are offline. Isen’t the switch and bulb supposed to act as routers? The sensors are close to both the switch and bulb.
Ikea only has battery powered switches, these are never routers.
Sorry, I meant plug.
That is a router
What coordinator (dongle) are you using ?
I have the nabu casa skyconnect.
Did you use the included USB extension cable ?
Yep. The apartment is made of concrete and I have 2.4 ghz WIFI so Im not suprised the connection is bad, but I dont understand why it does not re-route to my new devices.
Aqara is famous for not finding new routes on their own. Try re-pairing through the plug.
Ah, I did not know that was possible. I will try that, tanks!
