Yeah, we are on the same page. I didn’t mean to argue one way or the other, just state the current reality.

Thanks everybody for the suggestions on how best to resolve my issues.
As an interim measure, I’ve added an MQTT broker to the Pi that runs ozwdaemon, and bridged it to the main broker. Longer term, I’m going to take a look at the ozwdaemon code to see if I add connection resilience. Don’t anybody hold their breath though as I am not an expert programmer anymore.
