PV Solar Output forecasting -- any cool automation ideas?

Hi all.
With solar forecasting data now being a thing (im using solcast via a restAPI sensor, as Forecast.Solar doesnt work in the sothern hemisphere), has anyone got any cool ideas to use that data for automation purposes ?

Heating/Cooling is the obvious one, but ive already got some automation in place based on PV generation and temperature.

Another thought I had was around some notifications – hey its a good solar day, maybe do some washing and run the clothes dryer.

But … surely there are better ones out there?

Could you expand on that please?

Forecast solar does not work here either.

At the moment I’m using a simple 10 minute average of solar power available to switch my ducted heating.

The Forecast.solar integration is useless if you live below the equator. North America and Europe only. As Australia has the highest number of rooftop solar installtions per capita, it would be nice to see Solcast available as an integration that works with the Energy Panel. Beyond my capabilities, though. But I have modified the above slightly to use the new template format in HA. I’ve limited the API call to the next 72 hours, added the next 30 min estimate as the state of the REST sensor …
