Thanks for your enthusiasm about this project. I’ve been asked this already, so I guess I’ll mention it here as well.

I do indeed have plans to backport Python 3.13 to Debian bookworm. However there still is some time left, and I am working on a different backporting solution already which should be more representative of how Debian actually builds their packages. Hopefully that will allow for more automated testing. I’ll give that a try first and see if I can make it work.

You guys might be interested in this since Home Assistant 2025.2 just released: Python 3.13 backport for Debian 12 bookworm :see_no_evil:

It is still build the same way as my old packages because I didn’t have enough time to get my new workflow set-up, but it should be working fine!
