Rain Sensor support needed

Hello All, as I am new in to HA and now facing more and more this YAML config.

I have found this setup/config:

Rain Warning Sensor with Home Assistant

And I am very interested into it. And somehow I cannot set it up. I coiped the YAML in my config.yaml file and then I am stucked. I can not put the entity with rain… What I am missing?
Can anyone help thank you!

Hi, did at which point are you stuck?
You are not sharing much to be able to help you.

Have you checked your new config & restarted HA?
Did you check ‘Developer tools’ → states if the sensor is created, what state it has and the values of the attributes?
Did you add the sensors to your dashboard?

What I have done:
1: on the link there is a descripition, how ti integrate this.

• copied YAML code in the config.yaml file

2. adjust the Lat & Long parameters in the yaml.code “resource”
3. create “helpers” with sensors
   4 add them to dashboard, but there is “none”
   anywhere i got a wrong step or missed step
