I have a feature request for following water timer: RainPoint

This is a Tuya device, so because of their appalling API is unlikely to be included as a core integration.

I have seen the topic already. Is the work around supporting the external sensor?

No only control of the valve.

Is the sensor in the Tuya app available?

I would assume so but as I don’t have the device I don’t know for sure.

You can integrate it with one of the Tuya custom components available in HACS
