Raspberry Pi cant get to install

Hi I am trying to install on a raspberry pi 3 I have tried 3 sd cards. I have put the image on cards and I have the pi connected to a monitor I know it is headless but just to makes sure something is running. I then go to my pc and type the ip with the port nothing and the local address and nothing. I have tried numerous browsers I have left it for over a hour at times. On the screen I have the message power management disabled. wlan0 link is not ready. I am using a ethernet. I have run other things on the pi to makes sure network is working etc. But its driving me nuts. When i try to logon with the local and the ip address with the port number just get connection refused. no loading screen nothing?

Many thanks

which version are you installing? hassbian or hassio?

If you know the IP of your Pi (Using Fing on your phone to discover IPs or similar), use the port 8123. If you get connection refused, you might suffer from the same problem as I was suffering for countless HOURS.

Please go over to your Pi, plug a keyboard on it, log in with username “root”, a blank password, wait until the cursor shows “hassio >” or something like that and type in “ha reboot”. If it says something along the lines like “Connection refused”, correct your time using this “guide” here and the Pi should start downloading stuff and the frontend should load.

Hi Thanks for the replies. I wrote to the card with win32diskimager and it has now worked very strange. but many thanks for your help.
