Recommendation for smart power plug?

I’m looking for a smart plug that can work with HA pretty much out of the box.

Any recommendations?

esp based wifi plug pre-loaded with esphome or tasmota. Maximum freedom and future proof :rocket:

I live in Israel.
I just want it to work with HA without any special requirements.
I want to control it remotely and monitor usage.

I tried the Tasmota but it doesn’t connect to my Asus router. If it does connect, then it’s dropping connection all the time while it’s 2 meters away from it.

So I’m after a smart plug that is not tasmota that I can get from AliExpress

First you decide how you want to communicate with that power plug (WiFi, zigbee or zwave) and then what is available/where you would like to buy it.

Depends on how do you intend to build your network. What protocol will most of your devices use.
