My Lenovo Tab M7 has an option in the Android battery settings called battery protection mode. It alters the charging control so that the battery is never charged above 80%. According to Lenovo, this option is specifically designed for always plugged in situations. Let’s see how that will fare in the long run.

Maybe yours has this option too.

what do you mean i can turn a charger on and off ?

like if the baterry is at 20 , ha will turn on the sonoff untill i reach 80% if i ask him to?

Yes, obviously you need a power supply controllable from HA. But the automation is trivial.
