I’m also interested in a solution for this. While the topic is described here for the ESP32-S3-Box-3, it doesn’t seem to be applicable to other setups, such as using the Wyoming protocol with a Raspberry Pi Zero.
Support for Responding to ESP32-S3-Box-3 Queries Through External Speakers
It would be great if there were a way to associate a microphone ID/entity or room ID with a media player. This appears to be possible with the ESP32-S3-Box-3 but not when using the Wyoming protocol.
I’ve attempted to implement this via Node-RED, but I wasn’t able to intercept the Assist response successfully (I’m still at a beginner level with Node-RED).
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
