Reed switches gives a lot of false state changes

Measure your voltage drop.

Probably nothing significant because there is hardly any current flowing.

As the smallest unit is seconds it’s not really visible how long the false-positives are but as said the easiest (software only) solution:

I think I have solved the issue by using the new wire. It is shielded wire.

I will keep an eye on it for the next few days.

But is it also no good idea to have this shielded cable next to a 220v in a cable tray?

Yea thought it looked like you could get some interference from power cables.

If you are not happy with it being next to the 220v in the cable tray just run it in some conduit or cable duct for extra protection.
