Refresh group from input_select is possible?

I want to update a group from an input_select.
If i choose a value in the input_select i would HA could refresh a group with another sensors …
is that possible ?

I did something similar with group visibility and automation. The idea is to put each sensor in its own group and put all the groups on the front view but keep them hidden. I then automated their visibility depending on the state of the sensor. In your case, you could put all the groups that you made into another group and then automate their visibility based on a input select.

I am about to start on a new project and was looking for suggestions before I start. I have HA connected to my alarm with 30+ door / motion / window sensors. I want to have only the sensors that are violated / open to appear on the front end and the rest hidden.
