It’s a cheap thing off ali express that was originally tuya based. Using it as it was supplied sucked (software wise), but it’s been pretty rock solid once I got esphome on it. It’s range/spread is really impressive. I can tuck it in a corner of the room that I’d assume would make it useless and it still works like its right next to the devices it controls (except for this amp now).
For less than ÂŁ5 its been great.
There’s a few details about it here from when I was first getting it flashed.
The original page for its dead now, but this looks the same.
There seems to have been another common variant crop up since I bought it, that also does RF. This one doesn’t.
Tried it with just raw (50% and 33%) and the amp doesn’t respond.
My TV doesnt flash its standby light either.
