I’m new here and trying to figure out if I can install Home Assistant on a remote VPS server and use it for Tuya Local?
I have my router at OPEN WRT and maybe this can help with my question.

HA in general can be set up on cloud platforms, there are some threads on this if you do a search, for example using AWS: Moving Home Assistant to AWS
But why you would prefer this over running it locally I couldn’t tell you. You will get 100% dependent on your internet connection. Setting up a remote instance to control local devices is a bit backwards if you ask me.
