Resolved - Has the service tts.google_translate_say been removed

I upgraded from 2023.6.4 to 2023.7.1 this morning and automations that used tts.google_translate_say are now no longer working. The only similar service I can find in the list of services is now tts.speak. But this doesn’t seem to work for me.

When I select tts.speak as the service, it requires a target, i.e. an area, device or entity, but all three show no matching area/entity or device found.

Help!

Removed the “base_url” option for the tts config in configuration.yaml and restarted HA.

I did this:

  1. removed the tts from config.yaml
  2. Added google text to speach from integrations page
  3. changed the tts.translate_say call to tts.speak
    Clicked the errors detected by the “you can fix it notifications” one by one and hit save.

The errors are now gone and automations are working (again?)
