I’m using riemann sum helper to count daily charge of my battery. The battery is only charged during daytime (solar-based), so the value from sunset till morning isn’t changing. But the very first step on Riemann count in the morning is a “step” that is significantly larger than the very last one measured the night before (very small % value, but since the counter has reached high values, it’s significant to a daily calculation and creates a huge jump in hourly statistics at sunrise).
What am I doing wrong here? I’m guessing it’s caused by accumulation of the amount and setting it to zero would cause the problem to be insignificant enough to not matter anymore. How would you approach this issue?
