Is it possible to change the map view to satellite view, and if so, how can this be done?

No this is not possible for the Home Assistant map.

I created a small map-card to take advantage of certain advanced Leaflet features: WMS layers, custom tile layers displaying entities as icon or as marker Of course if you don’t need any of these features, it’s better to stick with the official map-card. with a more advanced example in my blog: I also initially introduced it in:

Actually I tried to load the repository and a message says that the custom map card is not compliant, unfortunately.
So, is there an alternative to show a satellite image on a card which can also display a device tracker?

Dear all, I have used the map-card with the ESRI ArcGIS satellite image layer, but unfortunately the zoom is too low to display a garden. Is there a way to display a georeferenced image with map-card? Many thanks.

Have not saved a code, it is one of a possible source supported by custom map card.
