Send notifcation for google calendar events (today / tomorrow)

I’m currently trying to create a sensor that will indicate whether I am on annual leave tomorrow. I have adapted this code to my Google calendar details but it seems to struggle when the same titled event is both today and tomorrow.

For example, I have separate all-day Annual Leave events in my Google calendar for both today and tomorrow. My ‘Annual Leave Tomorrow’ sensor is showing as ‘Off’ but will show as ‘On’ if I delete the Annual Leave event that is in my calendar for today. Does anyone know why this is and what I would need to change to get this working?

I cant get {{ trigger.to_state.attributes.friendly_name }} working for normal notifications, so I think I will need separate automations for each of my bins
