Hi,
It would be very helpful if I could choose an area like kitchen instead of a specific motion detector device.
If you have more than one sensor in one area it is redundant to create a group in helper , it would be cleaner if this wouldn’t be Necessary.
Thank you

Hi everybody,
I have two motion detection sensors for the downstairs hallway as well as two lights in that very hallway.

Just wondering why it’s not possible to use area’s as conditions? I’d like to, for example, check if any lights are on in a configured area. Is there currently a different way to check if any lights have been left on in a specified area?
It’s not built in, but magic areas will do exactly what you’re asking for without waiting any longer.
