The problem

Shark IQ (now AI) is missing maps, and rooms.

these are available through the API, and are supported on google/ echo/ smartthings “go clean kitchen” works on other services.

This is not a bug, room targeting is in development and currently not implemented in Home Assistant. Please use the proper channels for feature requests. Issues would not be the correct place for this discussion.

Any movement on this? Would be a great feature.

I’d definitely like to see this too, but it looks like they killed the feature on Google Assistant. Are we sure it’s still available in the API? Docs for the devices dont include location commands anymore.

This thread points at a PR that looks like it was supposed to address this by @jrlambs but the status is unclear. Is there something we can do to help move this one along?

If this helps anyone else - see my post at the bottom of this thread. It gives step by step instructions for how to set up the room targeting because it was so difficult for me to find. Took me hours. I hope it helps someone else.
