I don’t think there is such a guide.

Yes, you can send MQTT message by MQTT integration.

I used the delete option of MQTT Explorer:

Everything returned to normal (except for the need to reassociate the discovered devices with their rooms) after deleting the topic and rerunning discovery gen 1/2 (The Shelly dimmer entities didn’t show up like the rest of the devices, but required a reboot of home assistant)
