I have a user that like to see only temperature and cameras from my garden house and nothing else.
I have created a user and disconnected the view but there are still the default “overview” as well as some left side panels I like to hide for this user som make it simple and only a “view” with the cams and temps.
How do I get the side panels and the “overview” out of this users sight?

To hide the Overview dashboard, edit its view and under the “Visibility” tab, unselect your limited user. If you have more than one view within the dashboard, you need to do this for each view. Then log in as the limited user, click the username at the bottom of the page, and change the default dashboard to something else.
Underneath the default dashboard option is an option to “Change the order and hide items from the sidebar”, you can use this to hide any panels that can’t be disabled.
Thanks EKC, all seems good and logical. I can follow the steps provided by you and all looks like I want it to look … until I log out and back on again, than it’s back to default view and also the items on the sidebar are visible again. Also I’ve been desperately looking for a “save” button as it seems to me that my changes are just not saved somehow.
What am I missing?

Unfortunately this makes it all kind of useless, at least for me.
