Anyone got a good example of setting a simple “holiday mode” boolean and then an alarm actions off it - e.g. simply put, when holiday mode is on, if motion is detected - do stuff.
First thing to do will probably be an alert sent out reading the like of…
“Holiday mode is on and motion has been detected!”
V simple first step but seems like a great use case now I have a “reliable” motion sensor, I got the hue one.
I do my stuff with AppDaemon so probably won;t be helpful, but I am curious - how is the latency of the Hue sensor? Since the hub is polled I would expect it to be quite slow.
