Smart light switches. Can they be cheap?

ummm, N stands for neutral.

I know, but in the drawing the N is connected to live. Never checked out the Shelly SL, maybe I have to.

Just use sonoff T4’s, they don’t require a neutral wire at the switch but you do need to install a small box (which comes with the switch) at the light. They can be Tasmota flashed as well. My house mostly has neutral and live at the switch but 2 places don’t so I use these T4’s flashed with tasmota.

So the shelly dimmer seems to be an affordable solution. But I’m confused about compatible buttons. I’d like the button / swtich to be momentary (spring loaded) so that it can be pressed from the upper or lower edge of the switch. So increase brightness when pressed from top, decrease when pressing from bottom, is that possible with the shelly dimmer? Any examples of such buttons?
