Smart Locks - Notify which user unlocked

Hi,

I’m looking at Yale / Schlage / others as a smart lock solution.

Which brand / model works with HA, so that when a user either unlocks the smart lock using a key pad / fob or from the app, HA is aware who it is?

I use a Schlage Connect with Wink and it adds sensors for every code you program so you can tell who entered. I just create a template sensor to add the name of the person. Not sure if it works same if you aren’t using Wink but I believe I did see others comment it did

I have some Yale deadbolts that tell whether it was a key/manual turn or keypad/code. You can make a template to associate the codes to a name.

Schlage Connect Locks - HA Integration Needs Attention

I’m excited to be finally posting this. This is mostly based on the original post by @nalipaz, but then added some sensors for door codes that I found on a post by @hejman08. Then a lot of templating help from @firstof9 @petro, I think I’ve gotten something that will be useful for many people with Schlage Locks.
