Same issue for me. Updated to 0.1.59 and zwave failed to connect (cannot connect to host core-zwave-js:3000). Reboot did not resolve. I was sure to tick ‘create backup’ before upgrading and a restore of zwave js got me back to 0.1.58 and all is well. Seems we should wait for a fix before updating?
what Docker container are you running? This is specifically the HA addon containers, so if you are using a different container, you shouldn’t be affected
My z-wave system has failed to start, and I cannot restore Z-Wave JS from backup due to an unknown error. Is there a manual way to fix this?
Retrying setup: Cannot connect to host core-zwave-js:3000 ssl:default [Connect call failed (‘172.30.33.4’, 3000)]
Ah I see the one I am running is different, zwavejs2mqtt, Server Version: 1.16.1. Thanks.
Do a full server restart, don’t just restart home assistant.
This type of honesty and apology is VERY much appreciated. Life is full of “teachable moments” - but we only learn from our screw-ups if we address them with humility.
