Somfy integration - no devices found?

Got the bridge. Got it connected directly lickety-split. It’s quick too.
However i can’t get it going in HA.
I don’t want to hijack this thread as it’s about Somfy…
However…
When I try and get the tokens per

Bond Local API (appbond.com) I get a locked response.

{“locked”:1,“pin_attempts_left”:10,"_

I can find the IP from my Unifi controller.
I can find the local tokens via the App…
When I try and get the integration going, I get ‘aborted’ …
I’ve rebooted the bridge, get locked ‘0’… still get ‘aborted’ as a response!
So close!

Well thats strange I had zero issues setting mine up. You’re 110% certain you’ve got the correct syntax for the API call?

Yeah it’s weird for sure.
This how I retrieved the token (which matches what I can see in the app)…

curl -i http://192.168.1.117/v2/token

It only returns the token for the first ten minutes though after a boot. It’s otherwise locked…

Could I ask, is there anything that needs to be done in the Bond Home app to enable third party integrations?
Perhaps I’ve missed a step?

OMG!
I left my bridge off over night, rebooted my HA server (had to install an OS Agent on Debian), restarted the bridge and bingo! Bond Bridge detected and added!
Wahoo! Now I play. :slight_smile:

No, definitely didn’t have to do anything extra in the app. I was reading somewhere once upon a time about Bond literally being started to enable easy integration of fans, blinds and shades into other platforms - so they keep things as straight forward as possible.

I’ll have a look at mine today for you and see if it jogs my memory, but I just remember it taking me all of about 10mins to add all of the blinds in my house plus an awning and get it all into HA.

In the mean time, maybe start a new thread - I just had a quick scan of the forums, there isn’t any real general Bond support thread, just a few scattered ones focused on the fan controller. Might be worthwhile starting one and it might even get a few more eyes on it from fellow Bond owners who may have encountered the same issue. Just make a post in here linking to it for anyone else who might go down the Bond route for Somfy.

Hey @Paradox8, I’m in the same boat as you, and have bought the Bond Bridge for the Somfy motors. Are you able to set the position as a percentage in HA? I’ve added the Bond integration, but can only seem to control up, down & stop.

Really hoping to set percentages through an automation, but can’t seem to find a way to do so!

You can try this and you should be able to set the position.
