I have a motorized blind using somfy Maestria Motor. I was told that this motor come with zigbee protocol as well as a RTS remote. If I want to integrate this blind to home assistant, do I also need to purchase SOMFY Tahoma Smarthub or can i pair the motor directly to HA.

You should be able to use your existing zigbee network if you have one assuming it is normal zigbee, but you will need some coordinator if you don’t have one.
