There are several projects which provide firmware/software to use the excellent Sonoff devices, but this is the first I’ve seen to use micropython. As a python developer, using this flavour of python is far preferable to learning C++, and I can develop using the REPL. This project shows how you can access the Sonoff via the WEB REPL. Code is provided to integrate the Sonoff over MQTT. I will be working through this project and post an update here.
