I have this 3 sonoff button that I cannot get any automatons to work with it, on the dashboard it controls the light but the actual button it does not, I have the single button type and it works fine, any ideas what I am doing wrong?
With what integration do you use it ?
Zigbee 3.0
Android with my companion app
ZHA, Zigbee2MQTT, Ewelink ?
It is zigbee
AFAIK, no Android devices can use the Zigbee protocol directly.
In order for Home Assistant to be able to communicate with Zigbee end devices like your button you need:
- A Zigbee coordinator device like SkyConnect, Sonoff Dongle-E, Conbee2, etc.
- An integration installed in Home Assistant. The two most commonly used are ZHA and ZigbeeToMQTT
Do you have both of those requirements covered? Which coordinator and integration are you using?

Sonoff dongle 3.0
@6971 Which Zigbee gateway implementation are you using? ZHA integration or Zigbee2MQTT?
Also note there are two different variants of Sonoff Zigbee Dongle; “ZBDongle-E” and “ZBDongle-P”
- Are you using “ZBDongle-E” or “ZBDongle-P” as your Zigbee Coordinator adapter?
- Are you using ZHA integration or Zigbee2MQTT as your Zigbee gateway integration?
