I can confirm that todays firmware update to 4100 made the trick, now we have the possibility to turn off the “auto close when water shortage” function.
apart from that the valve only gives out ‘m³/h’;
here is my template sensor script to calculate ‘Liters’
does anybody knows what else did change in this firmware?

I can’t seem to get your code to work to convert from m3/h to litres. I have changed sensor id to match mine, but its unavailable. Can you clarify for me , i have put the code in configuration.yaml
EDIT: I fixed it i needed to fully restart hass , reloading yaml wasn’t enough.
Did you have any luck with this? I just hooked it up to a drip feeder and same problem, I get an initial report of 0.2 as it fills the system and then it shows as 0 and water shortage (but the dripper is working fine)
