Sonos users be aware

It’s a step in the right direction. I guess we will find out more what it means by having 2 separate systems. Will they still work together with limited features or will they be completely separate? At least they aren’t killing support for the “legacy” products. So that’s something positive.

Multiple technical reasons about why legacy devices won’t form a part of the sonos ecosystem going forward - especially when you expect them to form a seamless experience.

But whatever, it’s purely as simple as playing music.

When LeGrand purchased Nuvo they did the same thing. They created a new line of products that were not compatible with the Nuvo line. This obviously pissed a ton of people off.

I own an IOT development company and I created a device that connected the interface of the “legacy” Nuvo products with the new Player line of LeGrand products. I also while I was at it integrated Sonos into that solution set.

It would not be much work for me to add yet another version of Sonos. Does anyone here have a decent contact at Sonos that I could reach out to? (I have not looked for one yet.)

Thanks

Joe
