Hello!

I had some trouble to configure my sony bravia with home assistant, but i think the problem is my tv.
the tv description is here

first, I added the “platform: braviatv” with the correct host IP; no bravia.conf file. Rebooted everything. The configuration module appears. But, in the log file, i have

2018-01-26 20:30:16 ERROR (SyncWorker_4) [braviarc.braviarc] [W] Exception: HTTPConnectionPool(host='192.168.1.15', port=80): Max retries exceeded with url: /sony/accessControl (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0x6f1f6af0>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused',))

I can ping my tv:

PING 192.168.1.15 (192.168.1.15): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.1.15: seq=0 ttl=63 time=1.526 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.15: seq=1 ttl=63 time=1.521 ms

but a telnet on port 80 do nothing:

$ telnet 192.168.1.15 80

An nmap on that host

Maybe you can try my Bravia custom component, see Sony Bravia TV component with Pre-Shared Key.
It also contains an explanation how to configure your TV.

Your error says port=80 and nmap says that port is closed.
A Google search says.
“The server running on BRAVIA listens on TCP port 20060. TCP connections are kept among requests but
they are disconnected by server if no command is sent from client in 30 seconds.”
Try using that port in Hass?
Also nmap only scans common ports. Try nmap 192.168.1.15 -p 20060

to port 20060 is also closed

i think all configuration in my tv are good for connecting something but i doesn’t work.

i’m trying your custom component but it still the same.

For the “Installation instructions TV”, i do not have “IP Control” in [Home Network Setup] section.
I only can turn on [Remote Start]

I am in the same situation with my 2017 Bravia KDL-32W660E

These low-end models don’t appear to have the feature.

I have the KD-43XE7002 and I cannot find IP control either. Only remote start.
