I tried using 0000 and nothing happens. I dont get anything to populate on my tv. Im not sure what to do at this point.

I have the same issue with my blu-ray ( BDP-S3700) - were you able to solve this issue?
Any news on this? I also want to control my BDP via Home Assistant.

You can try my custom component which works with a Pre-Shared Key instead of the PIN.
It’s also available via HACS.
I already saw this, but there is now menu point in my BD player for getting the key as far as I could see.
