Just thought I’d post one of my latest projects that I use on my alarm system interfaces. This one is a full standalone Telegram bot running completely on an ESP32 using Esphome. There is no need for any external applications such as HA. This allows full control of all aspects of the ESP application directly from the Telegram chat app. This component also allows notifications of any changes you need to keep track on. Why standalone? Not everyone needs a full blown home control system to manage a few devices. Having remote access to the ESP app from anywhere can be useful.
