Suggestion needed for motion + luminance sensor that's not Xiaomi

Anyone have a suggestion for a motion device that has a luminance sensor built in?
Mainly I want to control lights and only turn on if the room is dark. I’d rather use a lux measurement than time of day (including dusk - offset)

The Xiaomi devices are really nice and I wish I could use them, but they just give too much trouble.

There is the philips hue of course but it’s pretty costly. I’m looking for something around ~$20

I don’t think there is anything in this price range with motion and lux, except DIY.
What trouble to you have with the Xiaomi devices?

They keep becoming unavailable. I did a lot of troubleshooting on them. Some of it discussed here.

  • Removed all incompatible repeaters from the network.
  • Turned my WiFi APs down to the lowest required power.
  • Assigned the APs to channels that don’t conflict with the zigbee channels my hubs run on.
  • None of the zigbee hubs (hue, smarthtings, huzbusb) share channels.

It seems those tuya sensors have temp & humidity but not luminance
