Switch - fused, WiFi controlled, 13A, Tuya integration (Timeguard FSTWIFITU)

Anyone had any experience installing one of these? I’m attempting it tomorrow, let me know if you have any advice! If not I’ll post here with my review

It’s good! I like the fact that it has options to configure startup state (on | off | remember last state). This is especially good as I’m using it control an Economy 7 circuit (see this post for more context)

Hi
I’m looking for a HA friendly solution to control my immersion heater and found your interesting review.

How has it been?
Can you comment on if/how you got it working in HA??

I’m hoping i can leverage the TUYA intergration in this newer iteration…

It’s great. You just need to follow the Tuya setup instructions (a little convoluted) but since then it’s been rock solid.

The other post describes more about how I adapted it for my particular Economy 7 needs.

Its a bit more expensive but this works a treat if you want to have an automated immersion heater:

Also, the 13A fused spur is not really suitable for a 3000W immersion, it is switched with a 20A switch, although it does say it will switch a 3kW immersion heater on the box
