@eerison

Maybe if I could understand what your trying to do but have you looked at this blueprint.

What I was trying to do is: I am using this blueprint to turn on one entity based on others 3 switches. But I would like to start a timer also :smiley: .

Topic 2:

@Blacky

I just updated the the last version of HA. But now the blue print is not working for a specific scenario.

I have 3 switch that will be used to trigger another switch.

But at the moment I have 2 of those switch unavailable, and it is not working when the remaining switch deactivate.

then when the switch (available), turn on, it activate the target switch correct.
But when it turns off, the target switch keep on.

then I removed the unavailable switches, and keep only available one, and it is working.

But this issue comes after I update HA.

@eerison

So you just update HA to 2025.10.0? and now you get this problem?

If so this is HA. I wont be updating until they get to about 2025.10.2 so I can’t test it.

Is it because the update is making the switches “unavailable” now or did they change something?

You could report it to them, roll back or wait until 2025.10.2 and reach out again.

Hey @Blacky

it is on 2025.9.4 version.

Is it because the update is making the switches “unavailable” now or did they change something?

well I am not sure, if it was unavailable before update, but now it appears unavailable

do you know what is the latest version that it is working :smiley:?

@eerison

I am on the same version of HA as you. I tested everything here with an unavailable switch in every input and I can’t fault it.

I did notice some of the code is legacy, so I’ll update it. That won’t make a difference to the issue, though.

Release Notes

It’s time to give this blueprint some love. I use it to turn ON transformers that power my WLED lights, so this update focuses on improving that workflow.

:sparkles: New Feature

Main Entity – Time Delay OFF

  • Sets how long the Main Entity remains ON after all Switches turn OFF.
    This delay also applies to the Alternating Entity, if configured, when it is turned ON.

Use case:
When controlling an LED transformer, this delay allows connected lights time to smoothly transition OFF before the transformer is powered down. It also helps keep the transformer ON briefly if the lights turn back ON, preventing rapid ON/OFF cycling.

:bug: Bug Fixes

  • Cleaned up an Already running error log.

:toolbox: Maintenance

  • Refactored and cleaned up the code to improve readability and efficiency.
