Synology DSM Integration broken after updating HA to 2023.2.1

Just as a warning: after updating HA from 2023.2.0 to 2023.2.1 my Synology DSM Integration is not starting up anymore.
And there are many more with the same issue, so please be aware.
It might be related to this this change.
See also this Github issue.

Indeed, here too…

I am facing the same issue

Same problem here. A rollback solves the issue…
Command line:
ha core update --version 2023.2.0

Same here …is there a sloution for this?

THANX

yep not working anymore

Thank you.

It looks like this issue has been resolved.
The Github issue is closed as completed, and a Pull request has been merged in the HA Development branch.
So now we only have to wait for this fix to be released in HA.

It is not resolved or will it be in the next release 2023.2.2?

This issue indeed has been resolved with the release of Home Assistant 2023.2.2
From the release notes:

Bump py-synologydsm-api to 2.1.2 (@mib1185 - #87324) (synology_dsm docs)

After installing this update the Synology DSM Integration is working fine for me again.

2023.2.2 fixed the issue for me, as well.

For me still not working on 2023.2.5.
Fault: Retrying setup: ‘utf-8’ codec can’t decode byte 0x8b in position 40: invalid start byte

Saw this happening from 2023.2.1 and only fallback to 2023.1.7 works

Any thoughts?
