Synology reverse proxy + Cloudflare: Unable to connect to Home Assistant

Hello all

I’m running Home Assistant locally and it works fine.
I started using my own domain name to access some services externally, and set up reverse proxy on my Synology NAS.

This works for most services, but not Home Assistant, since it’s giving me this message:
“Unable to connect to Home Assistant”
The domain goes through cloudflare > nas

I experimented a bit with trusted proxies in the configuration file, but it doesn’t seem to work. Maybe I’m missing something. Anyone can point me in the right direction?

Perhaps this post will help. This is the configuration I’m using with Synology reverse proxy, HA running as VM on ESXi host and my own domain set up via NoIP.

I didn’t add the websockets in the custom headers on the Synology NAS
