I lost my Virtual Machine running HA and then found out that my last backup was 5 months old. Was able to get a partial restore, but now am unable to get my Z-Wave JS server to update. Have tried multiple times but nothing in the error logs and the server freezes. Even let it try to run for about 20 hours.

you need to update the addon under settings → addons.
Yes, I have tried that at least 6 times, however that is when the entire system locks up/freezes and the update is unsuccessful. Also tried the uninstall and then reinstall to no avail.

Found a thread that suggested to change the USB on the VM to USB3, now the error does not show on the system page, however the Z-Wave JS UI will not start:
Seems to be a rogue update for some of us?
