System monitor - no entities

I have update HASSIO OS and system monitor is return to work.

for me, the entities are back, but all unavailable :frowning:

Hi, Just FYI
This morning I had a similar warning after upgrading to core 2024.1.2 and OS 11.4
The system monitor integration was added and the resources that I had defined were still working. However indeed if you look at the entities of the integration, everything seems to be disabled/unavailable. However that is in line with the integration documentation that states: All entities are disabled by default, you need to enable the entities that you wish to use.

I have removed the entries from configuration and the restarted home assistant.
(maybe reloading the config would have been enough)
For me the sensors which I had in the dashboard (like cpu usage and temp + disk usage numbers) were still working.
Looking in the list of entities I found all the ones I had in my config file enabled automatically (completely at the bottom of the list).
Next I have enabled the system_monitor_swap_ entities by selecting them and clicking ´enable selected’ (at the top of the screen).
After a few minutes the entities were available for use and showing values. :grinning:

RPI 4 / 2GB

  • Core 2024.1.2
  • Supervisor 2023.12.0
  • Operating System 11.4

hoo I missed the enable button, yeah that was the issue for me too.
Thanks!

Hi,
I am getting the exact same thing. The only options I have are those 5 sensors, all of which are meaningless. Did you ever get this fixed?

All running fine now.

From memory, it was a a bug in one of January’s early releases and fixed one or two releases later.

I think there is an issue with display of the entities. I have done dołowi g:

  • install integration
  • go to entities
  • tap entity where it shows „disabled” (it may not show as you can see on the screenshot, tap anyway):

  • tap settings „gear” icon:

  • you get this screen where you can tap „enable”:

  • tap „update”

Done:
