Tablet recommendation to put into a wall

Hi, I’m new to the community and I’m super excited to be adding (more) automation into my house.
I’m currently have a small setup, some Google speakers, a logitech harmony to control main devices and Hue Lights.
I’ve installed HA on a Raspberry Pi and accesing Lovelace from my laptop, cellphones, etc.

I want to put something on the living room wall so it’s easier for anyone to use Lovelace and access the main options.

What would be a cheap tablet recommendation?
I’m in Germany and I did a quick research and found:

  • Used iPads 2 for over 100€
  • Amazon Fire 7 for 55€

Is the Amazon Fire good enough to leave it on all time on a wall? Any other ideas or recommendations?

Be careful with the old iPads. The minimum requirement is something that supports a later version than iOS 10

I have 3 Fire HD8(2018) units rooted and with LineageOS ROM. They run all the time with Fully Kiosk Browser with no issues.
