I had this idea to Chromecast a camera feed to a wall tablet I have when the door is opened or in another case when motion is detected outside the front door. There’s apps for Android that fake being a Chromecast so you can cast to any phone or tablet that’s using this app.
Did I overthink that? Has anyone accomplished something similar in an easier manner? I know I could do it with Tasker and tinycam pro but I’m curious in the options as I’m looking for the solution with the quickest response from motion detection to the camera feed showing on the wall tablet.
