Hi folks, I have the same issue but all the above didn’t help (or I was unable to find the necessary).
I cannot set up the integration (failure to connect to http://ccab4aaf-frigate-fa:5000/, protocol says “bad gateway”.
I don’t see any stream in the addon. Protocol says: “unable to read frames from ffmpeg process”. It also says that no hardware acceleration can be detected although I habe Coral TPU installed and plugged in.

First thing for me is where did your frigate url come from? That looks odd to me. Have you tried just the ip address:5000? Also what platform are you running frigate on? You mentioned a coral tpu, but it would be helpful to know how you installed frigate and on what.
I run Home Assistant with the Virtual Box on a Mac mini and want to use the Frigate addon as well as the integration.
The URL is given in the documentation for the frigate integration and is the hostname that appears in the addon when running. I already tried IP:5000 as you suggested. It also fails.
Addendum: issue solved, just a little typing error…

I can start addon, and I see video from my camera but only for like 1 min, after that it loses the connection. I cannot make integration as well because there is nothing under http://ccab4aaf-frigate-fa:5000/
are you using “Full Access” version? if so, try http://ccab4aaf-frigate-fa:5000/
omg thanks, solved that for me, the integration popup is pretty confusing as it explicitly tell you do use the non-fa
Couple years old, but adding the -fa fixed it for me today. Thanks!
