Hi,
is it possible with hass.io to use the headphone jack to output “TTS”?
It is currently just connecting to my chromecast, stopping whatever is on there, and sometimes even says something then. But i want to be able to watch movies while TTS is saying something. Can i use a “localhost” TTS output on hass.io?
Search for Modipy. That is what I’m using to drive local headphone jack for TTS, etc in hassio.
Don’t have the details in front of me but I loaded it up and it’s working. It does have some background noise after it talks I’ve found but hasn’t been a problem for me.

Nice thanks for the quick answer! I tried using this external https://github.com/bestlibre/hassio-addons/tree/master/mopidy/, but it did not want to load the link. Will try the links in the thread there
