TUYA component - local_key

here :

Thanks!! Will look into that

here goes a more in depth explanation!
Method can be found in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5GYh470m5k its for a switch but works on the lohas light! Probably in many others! link for the firmware: https://github.com/xoseperez/espurna/releases/download/1.13.3/espurna-1.13.3-lohas-e27-9w.bin once flashed, it wont work at first. Download this script: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/esp8266/Arduino/91833667343b17d4494464e80ca900eae884bff8/tools/espota.py Then you need to connect to the bulb AP and run this in the cmd: python espota.py -i 192.168.4.1 -f <firmware-filename> -a fibonacci -r and from then on, its a espruna device!!!

You can contact me anytime if u need further help! I wasted a lot of hours figuring this out, and im happy to help u avoid that!

Finally found some time to try. After some problems with an Pi2, I tried an laptop with a Kali install and that worked.

Flash it now, before Tuya close the loophole.

Ok thank you I’ll give it a shot this weekend, is there a link for the firmware for the smart lights?

The firmwares are explained in the tutorial(s) on how to OTA flash the devices.
But, in general, the answer is the usual suspects (Tasmota, Espurna, EspEasy, … )
