Tuya integration in home assistant

Dear all,

I am new to home assistant and I have successfully integrated TUYA into home assistant. I have this wifi/zigbee 12 channel relay board which I could successfully control all 12 channels using TUYA app, however on the home assistant app I could only see the first 6 relays. I am not using zigbee protocol in this instance.

Can you kindly guide me to the area of the configuration or xml file that I would need to look into please? I am no software specialist but with some guidelines I can probably manage this quirk.

thank you all and happy new year.

kind regards

Hello Anton Vella,

Look at ZHA. to see if your device is supported or if someone has a quirk files to tide you over until it is supported assuming it is not.
If you are looking at how to use the quirks, Zigbee Guide: How-to add/setup local custom ZHA Device Handlers (also known as ”quirks”) in the ZHA integration.
Has a discussion about it…

Thank you sir. Yes probably that is an easier path to try and move away from the wireless wifi connection and use zigbee ZHA. I am sure I came across a similar post before with the quirk available. More importantly I have to verify that my board supports ZHA. #
thank you very much.
